What is all this?

Hi!
I’m dinopoke and this is my blog. I intend to use this my journal for an English task I have to do for college but if I get into the habit of doing this I might use it as my personal blog as well. But I know you guys don’t want to hear about my boring personal life so I’ll try and talk about things that interest me and hopefully you.

I have a huge interest in games. Ironically, I hardly find the time to play any but instead spend a lot of time reading and discussing about them. I guess I’m deeply drawn to the mechanics of games and all the ideas and theories that surround the field. As I result I aspire to be a game designer of some sort one day. Seems like a pretty stupid and difficult job to obtain but it doesn’t hurt to aim high!

Also, I love watching anime. But as life dictates, I hardly have time to. There’s something about the wacky characters, overblown storylines and the charming art of (most) anime that enthralls me and keeps me coming back for more. If becoming a games designer doesn’t work out for me, I’d probably be an anime director. Or animator. Or scriptwriter. You see, I’m quite clear and definite when it comes to career goals. But then again, I’m no expert in the field so I’m curious and want to know as much as I can!

Wow, this is getting too long. I’ll sum up;

I’m lazy, I live in Australia, I like music, TV, films, reading and drawing, I hate doing work, I like short walks on the beach, I’m curious and I’m probably someone who, sitting in his backyard, is staring out into the distance, wondering why life as so boring. As his house is on fire.
